If you are an individual in need of a bike for yourself or your whānau, and cannot afford to purchase one, please send us a short message and we’ll do our best to help. Include your height, what you’ll be using the bike for (transport, recreation, etc.) and where it will be stored (indoors, garage, under cover). Also let us know if you need lessons and we will try to arrange group sessions when possible.
There is usually a wait of 2-8 weeks, depending on the sizes available and the length of the waitlist.
Email rebicyclewgtn@gmail.com or Facebook messenger @ReBicycleWellington.
If your organisation is interested in helping us get bikes to great homes, please contact us.
We are currently working with Wellington Red Cross volunteers, Changemakers, CCS Disability Action, DCM, local schools and other community organisations.
We also have a small Bike Library, where anyone can borrow a bike for a small koha (donation). Schools are able to borrow these bikes for cycle skills sessions if needed.
